Electrifying your home heating system with a heat pump is one of the most effective ways to reduce your overall carbon footprint and make your home more comfortable. Ideal times to consider a heat pump is when you need to replace your existing heating or cooling system, when you want to add air conditioning (because heat pumps provide cooling as well as heating), or when you are considering rooftop solar. Because getting an energy audit, choosing heat pump equipment, and vetting and choosing installers can be a time-consuming and confusing process, it makes a ton of sense to be ready! You can't really wait until you are suddenly out of heat in the winter to start researching heat pump options, so it's important to PLAN IN ADVANCE. 

What you can do today is to pledge to install only heat pumps for your future heating and cooling needs, and to develop a plan to do so, in advance.
