about-us media

The Fairmount Indigo CDC Collaborative (FICC) is made up of three Boston CDCs: Codman Square Neighborhood Development Corporation, Dorchester Bay Economic Development Corporation, and Southwest Boston Community Development Corporation. FICC seeks racial, climate, and health equity and justice in our communities through: increased affordable housing, excellent public transit, pathways to good jobs and financial resilience, sustainability innovations, expanded green space and opportunities for active living, and vibrant public places. To see these objectives through, we organize local residents and businesses and coordinate action with neighborhood partners, public agencies, and social investors. FICC is currently focused on bringing climate justice and health equity to the communities it serves through a combination of community organizing and policy advocacy.

Our broad goals include the following:

  1. Collective political power
  2. Economic and wealth-building opportunities
  3. Transit-oriented affordable housing development
  4. Sustainability, climate justice, and health equity
  5. Equitable public transit
